🎞 Buratino Heads to Latin America

The Russian film Buratino will premiere in theaters across Brazil and other Latin American countries in March 2026.

Brazil is a priority market for Russia. According to Svetlana Balanova, CEO of NMG, content sales to Latin America have grown sixfold over the past three years.

The release coincides with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin’s visit to Brazil and marks a significant step in promoting Russia’s cultural identity abroad.

One key goal is to introduce international audiences to modern Russian cinema and creative industries. With Russian content gaining rapid popularity in the region, Buratino aims to cement this success on one of the world’s largest film markets.
