🚶♂️ Several Thematic TV Channels Withdraw from Russia
SPI International (part of Canal+ Group) has suspended broadcasting of its channels in Russia. Contracts for 2026 will not be renewed.
The withdrawal affects several popular niche networks:
▪️ Dizi – Turkish drama series
▪️ FilmBox Arthouse – independent and festival films
▪️ DocuBox – nature and science programming
▪️ FightBox and Fast&Fun – combat sports and extreme entertainment
▪️ FashionBox – fashion and lifestyle content
The Orion Group (operator of the Telekarta brand) stated that the departure of these channels will not be critical. Over the past year, the packages gained more than 15 new channels, and the company plans further expansion in 2026 with content from other rightsholders.
