📺 Travel+Adventure to launch March premieres and themed marathons

The Travel+Adventure channel, available to operators and OTT platforms via the national industrial platform Mediabaza, has unveiled its updated programming schedule for March 2026.

The spring season will focus on new installments of popular travel franchises, documentary explorations of hard-to-reach regions and a series of themed weekends. The flagship project of the month will be a new season of the travel show “To the Rhythm of the Rails,” in which host Philippe Gougler continues to explore countries through their railway routes, which are often the only way to witness authentic local life.

The geography of journeys will also expand with new episodes of “Culinary Map: South Africa,” dedicated to the gastronomic diversity of South African regions. In addition, the channel will air the cycle “Whisper of the Alps,” a documentary look at mountain villages striving to preserve traditional lifestyles amid the pressures of the modern global economy.

For viewers interested in cultural fusion, the channel will present “Heritage of Taste: Macau.” Host Justine Schofield explores the region’s unique Portuguese-Chinese legacy through local culinary traditions and the personal stories of its residents.

In March, Travel+Adventure will continue its “themed weekends” format, helping broadcasters retain loyal audiences and build appointment viewing around its schedule:

  • March 7–9: a holiday marathon of fan-favorite seasons of “To the Rhythm of the Rails” with Philippe Gougler.
  • March 14–15: a programming strand “Along the Great Rivers,” timed to International Rivers Day.
  • March 21–22: special programming dedicated to the International Day of Forests.
  • March 28–29: a wrap-up marathon featuring all of the month’s premieres.

This approach to scheduling – from daily premiere slots to large weekend marathons – makes the channel a valuable tool for operators seeking high-quality package content. Travel+Adventure is available for carriage orders in Mediabaza, with delivery via the terrestrial distribution platform Medialogistika.
