🏆 The Producers Guild of America names its winners
Los Angeles hosted the 37th annual Producers Guild Awards (PGA), where the top honor of the night — the Darryl F. Zanuck Award — went to the war epic One Battle After Another.
The PGA is considered a key bellwether for the Oscars: over the past 22 years, producers’ choice for Best Theatrical Motion Picture has matched the Academy’s Best Picture winner 17 times. Last year, Anora triumphed at the PGA before going on to confirm its frontrunner status at the Oscars.

🏵 Innovation Award: The Wizard of Oz at Sphere.
Honorary awards for outstanding contribution to the industry went to Jason Blum and Amy Pascal. The victory of One Battle After Another all but cements its status as the frontrunner in the race for the Best Picture Oscar.
