🩺 Scrubs makes a triumphant comeback
The legendary medical sitcom has returned after a 16-year break. The first episode of the reboot drew 11.4 million viewers in its first five days across ABC and Hulu.
Disney confirms that the premiere became the most-watched comedy episode on the platform over the past year.
Among adults 18–49, the show delivered the best comedy ratings since January 2025.
The old gang is back together: Zach Braff (J.D.) and Donald Faison (Turk) have returned, joined by Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley and other original cast members.
The new Scrubs centers on the timeless bromance between its leads and their attempts to train a new generation of interns at Sacred Heart. As it turns out, the show’s trademark humor and heart are just as in demand as they were back in 2001.
