đ° NTVâPlus returns to Siberia
Satellite operator NTVâPlus has restored broadcasting in the Siberian region after the loss of the ExpressâAT1 satellite.
The March 4 failure led to a complete shutdown of several operatorsâ signals, and the RSCC satellite has since been declared lost.
The solution was to migrate services to the Yamalâ402 satellite (55°E), owned by Gazprom Space Systems. For now, up to 60 channels are technically available, and to support subscribers these channels will be offered free of charge during the test period. To resume viewing, customers need to retune their equipment.
Earlier, Tricolor carried out a similar maneuver by arranging to lease capacity on the ABSâ2A satellite.â
Experts note that the rapid recovery was made possible by close integration within the broader Gazprom ecosystem.
