š War of the Worlds sweeps the Razzies
Hollywood has handed out the 2026 Razzie Awards, the annual antiāprizes āhonoringā the worst in cinema over the past year.
The clear āwinnerā of the 46th ceremony was Prime Videoās sciāfi blockbuster War of the Worlds, which all but swept the night.
Main āwinnersā:
- Worst Picture and Worst Screenplay: War of the Worlds, which also picked up Razzies for Worst Director and Worst Remake/Sequel.
- Worst Actor: Ice Cube, who beat out Jared Leto (Tron: Ares) and Abel Tesfaye (The Last Tomorrow) in the category.
- Worst Actress: Rebel Wilson, for her role in the actionācomedy Spy Wedding.
- Very specific duo: all seven digital dwarfs from the liveāaction Snow White remake received two antiāawards ā for Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Screen Combo.
The one bright spot of the evening was Kate Hudson, who received the Razzie Redeemer Award for her performance in Melody of Their Dreams, which also earned her an Oscar nomination and marked a full comeback from earlier Razzieāera misfires.
