👁 Medialogia Launches New TV Series Ranking
The research company Medialogia (part of NMG) has launched a unified Russian TV Series Rating.
Unlike existing metrics, it accounts for the entire “consumption funnel”: search queries, viewing time on TV and online (including pirate sources), and social media discussions.
Top 5 most popular series of 2025:
- Squid Game (Netflix) – 42,861 points
- Stranger Things (Netflix) – 26,572 points
- Trace (Channel Five) – 20,361 points
- Daddy’s Daughters (STS) – 14,253 points
- Univer (TNT) – 13,267 points
Overall, Russian projects made up 60% of the top 100, while 40% were foreign titles. Among domestic series, Lilies of the Valley, Outsource, First Department, and Fisher also entered the top 10.
The rating will be published monthly and remain free to access. For the industry, this marks a step toward greater transparency, although experts note that the exact weighting formula—how viewership compares to social media buzz—has not yet been disclosed.
